[Leica] New M(246) Outputs 12 bit Files

I'm waiting to see what the explanation is. Going backwards in bit depth
from the M(240) is perplexing. Perhaps their chip cannot handle 14bit depth
of pure gray as opposed to 4 different 14bit depth channels of RGGB (4x1x4
vs 4x4 all at once...).

But I'm no EE, so I'm hoping other experts will jump in to explain what is
lost by going back to 12bit files.
