Here is a sample sale from last week:
Country: Worldwide
Usage: Editorial
Media: Book, print and/or e-book
Print run: Unlimited
Placement: Inside
Image Size: 2 page spread
Start: 01 January 2016
End: 01 January 2041
All terms and rights granted as per the Alamy Preferred Vendor Agreement
dated 26th January 2010 prevail. Flat rate per image, license period 20
years.
Unlimited print run, 2 page spread, worldwide, print and e-book, for 25
years and I get 50% of $180. When I started in stock, the lease would have
been for one year at the most and renewed every year they used it. The
price for one use would have been closer to $1000.
It's a tough market for photographers these days!
