[Leica] Critiques

Hi CREW,
I try to have a quick look at nearly all picture postings. And yes I have
bitten a poster on occasion rather cuttingly. As though I'm the Photo
Editor of a wire service, news paper or magazine where I have had real life
experience coping with professional shooters.

On the LUG? Usually from a newbie? Or along that kind of situation and in
private! Or received in return a nice thank you on private line and we've
continued the critique on occasion! Makes a guy feel good when you know the
poster has appreciated time in answering and possibly being helpful.

THEN??????????????????? you have what appears as a comment not worth quoting
on one's ability as a photojournalist with over 60 years on the firing lines
of life about the world. 8 Books published and 16 years as the lead lecturer
at the LEICA INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR on Cape Cod. I just delete and shrug my
shoulders and leave it be. With a quiet little sigh to myself.

It doesn't matter whomever the poster is? "INCLUDING ME!!!!!" We as
photographers are never so good. No matter whomever you are? Or think you
are? Once in a while a wee bit of a smack on the side of the head? Or a nice
pat on the on the back isn't helpful!

I'm far more inclined to have critiques good, bad or ugly simply because we
continue to learn! WHY?
KISS! None of us are so perfect that eyes of an another at times, can't be
helpful!

cheers,
Dr. ted :-)

Tina,

you post many truly wonderful images to this forum. I am struggling along
with

many, please help us out. This may be helpful, in a quite tangible way.

If you are not sure of your shots before you post, it is important to

understand what exactly makes you sure after you post ...?

This chapter is like 20 blind men trying to describe an elephant.
