[Leica] OKCLUG Goes To Salgado Movie

With Salgado, from what I have read it is a combination of who and
what. He (and/or assistants) work on the digital file to taste, have
it written to a 35mm or larger film negative and printed in the darkroom
on silver paper. In addition, as Jayanand noted, I have read that the
Genesis exhibition prints were inkjet. Somewhere in the mix I think
platinum/palladium contact prints were made too for collectors.

Pushing the Shadows and the Highlights sliders to 100% each will get you started in the right direction! :-) Seriously, though, that sort of overwrought drama is easily possible with Silver Efex Pro, at least.

The other advantage is the ability to hang around as long as it takes to get the shot - but that is the difference between a top pro and an amateur...
