So - assuming that the artist and/or crafts person possesses some skill and talent;
the more they practice the better the resulting artwork and/or craftwork should be.

The quantity and quality of time spent on the art practice is fare more important
than the quantity of film, paint, or other mediums used.

The time may be spent on getting to know one's subject;
or on setting up a single concept for a photograph, a painting, a piece of sculpture, a poem, or whatever.
