The other means of transportation in Cuba is horse carriages - much more so
in the country than in Havana.  Horses were used to carry everything from
people to construction materials to farm products.  Some were very well
carried for like this one:

Others, not so much.

C&C greatly appreciated.  There is even a charity that was set up to help
the abused and neglected horses of Cuba.
