Almost every house in Old Havana was also a shop of some kind.  This one is
one of many, many nail shops where girls and women go to have their nails
done.  Judging from the girls on the streets, most have very long, false
nails painted in spectacular designs and patterns.  This one was across the
street from our Casa Particular:
