[Leica] traveling to Turkey and Greece this week

Richard, it's along time since I've been in Greece and I've never been to
Turkey, but with all these places - and I'm including the US, Ireland,
etc. - there are thieves, and pickpockets. So I now always make my better
cameras look disreputable, and never carry a quality camera bag without
making it look tatty too. Here's a picture of my Fuji X100S which is just
over two years old, but is disguised with tatty duct tape.

If you're bringing a nice camera bag such as a Billington, make sure it has
its share of distressed duct tape too, and don't wear expensive clothes, or
wear a Rolex. If you're trying to impress anybody, make sure you try not to
impress thieves as well!!

Have a nice trip.

Douglas
