[Leica] OT: Mac OS Upgrades

Lluis, I have a 27" iMac (purchased in 2011 but it may be a 2010 model)
with a 2.93Ghz Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM. I called one of the
well known third-party vendors in the US (http://www.macsales.com/) and
after discussing it with the sales person I was told the only thing I could
really do to speed my computer would be to add another 16GB RAM, which to
be honest seems a bit excessive to me.

I may or may not buy a newer machine sometime in the next 12 months but it
does sound like yours is at or extremely close to its limit.
