Unfortunately, in some places of Spain, it's still an habit to serve small fishes as tapas, something persecuted by law...

So how do they get the adult sardines into the little tins? ;-)
I was speaking of adult mullet, though. We also only fish for them in salt water as the ones in fresh water usually have a muddy
taste.
