Thanks for looking and comment, Douglas.
They are grey mullets babies (Mugilidae), a very common species, here, on the Mediterranean coast of Spain.
The babies live, without distinction, in salt and fresh waters; when they grow, they generally stay in the sea, where fishermen
patiently wait for them.

We call them sprat, Marc. I spend large parts of my childhood trying to catch them with a net.
