Not upset. We’re still friends. Just thought a critical mail required a critical response. When my M240 arrives, I’ll update the firmware on the Fuji and see if that fixes the bug. I hate to do that possibly risky procedure when the Fuji is my only really good camera.

Peace,

Herb

Question authority and the authorities will question you.

I mentor quite a number of young photographers here in Chennai, and I see this sort of problems arising all the time.i did not mean to upset you, please accept my apologies for having inadvertently done so.

The one-second display in the OVF of the picture I have just shot tells me whether I actually caught the action I wanted. The camera is absolutely silent. The focal length is my favorite, and I decided on the camera after seeing the quality of shots on the LUG that were taken with one.

Uncle Ted’s strong representation was KISS; just don’t bother using macro mode—the shots can stand cropping. I am reluctant to send this camera in to Fuji. The first failure of the camera was in the switch that toggles between O and E finders. I sent it to Fuji via the local camera store. Some low-level technician decided there was nothing wrong with it and just did a reset and returned it. The store had to send it back to Fuji before they got the idea and replaced the switch.
