[Leica] Possible M8 purchase - HELP!

I've had mine since Feb. 2007 and had zero problems with it.  It has been soaked with water from Niagra Falls and bounced around traveling all over the place.  I take it everywhere.  Super reliable in my case.

Thanks Ric. I have sort of decided that an M8 may not be such a good idea because of possible problems. I may hang on for a M9 or go backwards to a M6 and shoot chromogenic film (or I may just abandon the whole idea) but still thinking.
