[Leica] Possible M8 purchase - HELP!

There is always a chance that old electronics may fail, but other than
that, if the price is right, why not?

I am shooting mostly 4x5 and medium format nowadays. These electronic stuff
confuses me. (*)

(*) a joke, as I am hard at work for our product that is, basically, teach
students/hobbyists on programming these electronic stuff.
