Well now you have me scratching my head Jim! What is the difference between shape and size?

In you're just prior email you listed that my 80 was the equivalent of a 50 for 35mm film/sensor size. That's what I consider normal ( really slightly telephoto, but as close as you get with modern lenses). Thus my statement. 

But still confused by shape vs size...
