Jayanand, I am not Tina but I know the answer: money.

Times Square is the biggest/worst tourist trap in New York. It has long been infested with people dressed as cartoon characters and offering to post with the tourists for a fee, obviously targeting families with children.

The naked women Tina shows are a new development (at least I did not see any last year or during earlier visits). I guess they want to target other demographics beyond families with children, i.e. expand the market.
