Ric,
I agree. I prefer this quintet to the first quintet (with Coltrane, mind
you!) He never had, and never again got a composer and arranger quite as
brilliant as Wayne Shorter. All this in addition to Shorter being one of
the modern masters of the tenor/soprano sax, that is quite a bonus!
