[Leica] Easter Island Statue...outside Fort Wayne

I photographed this concrete replica of an Easter Island statue last year.
It stands on the edge of a huge limestone quarry outside Fort Wayne, hidden
in an out of the way place at the back of the quarry. I wonder why it was
placed there?
