One of the things that I find much easier to do in Lightroom than
Photoshop is a gradient dodge. You can define a gradient and specify the
amount of dodging/burning along that gradient. You can do it in PS, but
it's much much more tedious. I often need to do a gradient dodge
whenever I take portraits in a situation where I don't control the light.
One of the things that I find much easier to do in Photoshop than
Lightroom is graceful removal of skin blemishes in close-up portraits.
Photoshop has more tools for noise and blemish removal and they are less
automatic, so I have more control over them.
I really really really hate the Lightroom printer interface. When I am
ready to print an image I typically export it to Photoshop and print
from there. I would also like to garrote the person who designed the
Lightroom cropping rectangle user interface.
I keep all of my images in Lightroom and go out to Photoshop when I
think I need to. The way that I will try out Affinity will be to call it
from Lightroom.
