Yep, same with me.
Maybe it is wishful thinking, but *I believe* that the images taken with 
the 50AA are much easier to post process (to my liking) than with any 
other Leica lenses I own.
I have been using it on my M9 lately and *I believe* there is a 
noticeable color difference (improvement) than with any other Leica 
lenses I own.
Prints are extraordinary; and yes, I do have a 50mm standard 'cron and a 
'lux to compare it to.
