No reason it couldn’t be done, except for the question can they sell enough 
to cover the development costs. I would buy one in a heartbeat, especially 
if it used the same lenses are the original xpan.

No idea - but will let you know if I hear anything. I suspect given the size 
of sensor required it would be very expensive.
