John.. you realize the M9 Sandisk problem was the firmware not the card?
Sandisk helped Leica to get it straightened out.....

The main difference in speed is when turning the camera on, especially with
EVF attached. I have been satisfied with the Lexar 600x (I have shied away
from Sandisk since experiences with the M9) but have not tried every card
available.....
