[Leica] RIP, my newspaper

I agree Frank to me with my semantic set the difference between wisdom and
being informed.
And actually I'm not that big a fan of current events in the first place.
Every morning there's always a fresh crop of news and it just goes on and
on. After awhile I'm back to my  James Thurber and F. Scoot Fitzgerald.
There are people who I disagree on on most points who Google all day and
night more than I do and retain more. And make legible cross referenced
notes. 
Don't laugh I'm still a fan of books. The paper ones with the turning pages.

So no the internet does not make you smarter in the sense of more wise it
just gives you more information  to make unwise conclusions from.
