[Leica] Leica M8 and M9 Sensor Problems?

It looks to be a very small percentage affected, but not a certain period/batch. Of course the M9 will have been out +5.5 years by then, would you ever consider buying a Fuji/Sony of that age ;-)

However, this does scupper my plan to upgrade my M8 to an M9 during 2015. Prices have now fallen to my level, but this sensor issue does give me second thoughts about buying a used M9, and a new M anything costs more than I am prepared to spend.
