This is a 15 vertical frame panorama of a section of the Forbidden City in
Beijing, the former Imperial Palace and grounds, taken on a normal gloomy
and smoggy Beijing day at around noon. This square is called the "Hall of
Supreme Harmony Square", and is a part of the Outer Court, or Southern
Section, and was mainly used for major public occasions during the Qing
Dynasty like imperial weddings, coronations and investitures. On the left
of the panorama is the "Gate of Supreme Harmony", and on the right, rising
majestically over the square, is the "Hall of Supreme Harmony".
Taken with a Fuji XE-1 with the 56mm f1.2 lens
