I certainly appreciate your photographic documentation of the events;
including your descriptions of your friends and other re enactors' serious interests;

and am fascinated by each and every subculture and their passionate pursuits (freely paraphrasing a bit of Jim Shulman).

I in no way question your presentation or their serious desire to present their reenactments.

I simply seek a deeper understanding of their motivations as part of the documentary process…

My interests in this subject are in no way critical of either your documentation or their presentation.

I didn't really get any particular sense of "terrible" from your photographic documents.
