Seems like a waste of two perfectly good cameras.
One of the many beautiful features of the M3 - its near perfect mechanical "FILM" advance.
And of course you can already put M and R lenses on the Sony bodies.
And of course buy a used M9 or any other digital M…

…so I guess I'm missing the point.
which may simply be that the chap has a good deal of time on his hands.
