Hi Jayanand,

It does have a LEICA ZOOM LENS! And sounds like some nice improvements the
"LEICA OVERPRICED DIGILUX YET TO BE RELEASED." But it will be the same
camera over priced just because of the "red dot button! OH yeah and the
name!

You may just have convinced me to have a serious look at this machine.
Certainly with the cool sounding things it can do?

IN PARTICULAR TURN COLOUR SCENES INTO b&w IN THE VIEW FINDER AND DELIVERING
FINE LOOKING BLACK & WHITE PRINTS!

Do you have any particular good, bad or ugly thoughts on the machine from
the manufacturers DESCRIPTION AS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS AND THE
red dot leica version????? WILL BE A red dot and most certainly an
absolutely ridiculous price!

Or any of the LUG CREW with reasonable comment??????

Thanks all.
cheers,
ted :-)

My guess is that the next Digilux has just been released by Panasonic,
and it looks to be a very nice camera. If you wait a few months you
can buy it with a red dot at twice the price:
