The 135 is a clumsy lens, but I always got nice results from it. During a recent clean out I passed the lens along. I kept my R copy (same formula) though, and found that it plays well on my a7s. Heavy but compact, it balances nicely. Good indeed for boids n Katz.

Of course, on the X-Pro 1 the eyes are not in the correct position relative to the viewfinder, but once you switch to the electronic viewfinder, then you are seeing through the lens and it’s all good. Much to my delight, the lens worked quite well. Here are two images, one with really close focus (about 1 meter), the other a bit further, perhaps 2-3 meters. Note that the exif data incorrectly shows the focal length as 90mm because the Fuji thinks I am mounting my 90mm Tele-Elmar on it whenever it senses that Leica M adapter.
