Hi George,

Yes I still have my M8 and shall keep it and use it. Your good point because
I have the M8 and purchase the M-mono that I'll have two M's. Thank you for
pointing that out.:-)  Makes me feel all the better. Not to logical thinking
some days. 
Now you've brightened my day I shall make the effort to look for the M-mono.

Yes sir. For me it was always two Leica Ms and SLR for the long glass;
as well as, in my newspaper days (cover your ears), a Graphlex Stroboflash
with custom bare tube head http://stroboflash.com/vintagestroboflash/

And doing commercial location photography with view cameras
required literally cases of film holders, lighting, etc.

Doing architectural photography meant adding ladders and rolls of filter
material
to balance the window light with interior lighting.

The M Monochrom will allow you to again hang two Ms on your spry self.
