[Leica] My M9 back in Home!

My M(240) rangefinder suddenly went out of alignment, it was not dropped or treated badly, so I sent it to NZ distributors who said on July 4th to expect 6 to 8 weeks turnaround. A month later, 4th August, they told me that due to a backlog of M9 repairs (Lluis?) there were delays of 4-6 weeks and it should be completed in the week 8th-12th September before then travelling around the world. This is just for a rangefinder alignment!

Hoppy is expecting the same timeframe to get the electrics for the multi-function grip reconnected in his M.....

I am delighted that Luis got his M9 back, though it's fair to say it should have taken 2-3 weeks instead of 3 months. It's appalling that the Leica group feels that it's appropriate to acknowledge this great event with a dozen e-mails.
