Hi CREW!
I never thought I'd get into any kind of conversation about all these new
fangled electronic machines of connecting one onto the other? Or in some
cases a huge crowd? Certainly at this time in my life, not much of it left
apparently! :-) Oh well what the hell that's how it goes.
As wonderful as these gadgets are I see most of them as destroyers of verbal
conversations and the beauty of a number of folks sitting about
jabberwocking about life and how the hell are you!:-)
I also appreciate in the world today, it is almost a mandatory piece of
equipment if you wish to stay in business. The computer? Well I'm first to
admit I'm still an illiterate in its use. Yes a few things I can do, as
long as my mind remembers which button or key to push. Although I must
admit, there have been times I have to phone one of my Sons and or their
wives or my grand children..... so ok, "WHAT THE HELL DO I PUSH NEXT?" THEY
Laugh AND FIX ME UP! :-)
I'm tutored for a few minutes and I get by another Himalayan Mountain
problem (well that's how it is for me. And it slowly appears to be
worsening?? We shall see?) :-(
The same as some of the new Leica's on the market? Some of your
conversations about various fittings, adjustments etc go right over my head?
"UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE HECK YOUR TALKING ABOUT?" I kind of shrug my rounded
shoulders from the years of carrying 2 or 3 Leica's on each at various times
during the past 60 years. However that's the way it was!
Then the electrifying world of today? WOW!!!!!! So I think it's becoming
past my time and maybe I should leave quietly some day to some place where a
Leica camera, one lens and a fresh battery in each pocket along with a card
is all you need to document the Angels doing their thing about the clouds.
:-)
cheers all. Have a great holiday weekend to all the Canadians online, it
being LABOUR DAY WEEKEND in Canada. Not sure if it's a holiday for other
Nationals? However have a good one in any event!
cheers,
Dr. ted :-)
