[Leica] Lei-ko R lens to S body adapter ring

Hi Doug,

I think that the 2x APO might foul the mirror on the S. Michael says in his instructions that the rear of the R lens must not protrude back behind the rearmost past of the adapter.

Having looked, the 1.4x APO shroud does not protrude as far back as the 2x APO.

Best wishes,

Charlie

The rumoured 350 S lens may well not happen. Focus is manual of course with stop down metering. The max focus distance is limited, unless you send the lenses to Leica for adjustment.

My newer copy (ROM) focuses only slightly past infinity and even has a different focussing pitch. Sounds like the older version is a better fit for the S2 + lei-ko adapter.
