[Leica] Moving Lightroom folders

What sort of drop in speed when working is there over a local copy? Usually recommended to have it on your fastest disks rather than in 'the cloud'.....

Absolutely. I wrote "move," but in fact I'll copy them into place and verify that everything works before deleting the original files ... and there's no rush to do that, either. Google Drive is very affordable and it works, but the interface leaves a lot to be desired.
