Certainly with Optical Construction of 4 elements in 2 air-spaced doublets
it is certainly priced like Leica optics.....!

I do remember hearing that this lens was made from cells from some
production lens ( leaving other cells out) .... Schneider I think......

Not a bad price for turn of the Century Optical re-formulation......
