matter what format (except 4x5 going to 4x5) you use, when you go to print
out an image you will do some amount of cropping, at least if you wish to
bleed to the edges of the "negative".  Otherwise you have borders on your
print... and uneven borders at that.

Format never mattered.......  Turning a camera on its side did......
