[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]The Fuji x100v 25 mp sensor has allowed me to move from Sony (modified for Leica M glass) + Leica M lenses to a 1 pound, fixed lens (23mm in aps-c = 35mm Leica M angle of view) camera that rides with ease on my belt. (I modified the Fuji case to ride better on the belt.) That angle of view fits my style and needs very well. Topaz AI Gigapixel software's quantum leap over old style sharpening is also a key part of my system now. (Reducing the PS default sharpening is needed to avoid old-school sharpening artifacts.) The little Fuji can make gallery quality images from f/2.8 (right side 8x10 ratio crop, going to across the frame at f/4), and the DOF increase is very nice for someone like me who likes sharpness throughout the 22x28 (+/-) inch wall display prints (as well as the very large, multi-image pans I like).
