[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Don, I like very much the Contax series II and III, in fact my first ?serious? pictures I took was with my father?s Contax IIIA, the Zeiss lenses are amazing, your Biogon performs very well and the color rendition is wonderful, I had a Sonnar 50mm f 1.5, I was using it on my Leica?s M with an Amedeo adapter, the color rendition was very likely yours, in B&W it offers a lower contrast than the M lenses. The Contax IIIA was a little difficult to focus, the focus path is very small and the magnification is only 0.66x, the magnification with the Contax II and III is 0.75, much better. I remember that the 50mm f 2 Sonnar was also very good on the Contax. Thanks for sharing these interesting shots, I hope you will do more. Best!
