I must confess to collecting a largish number of fast lenses with serious optical faults specifically to look a bit more impressionistic. This week is all from my front yard when the moisture still fell out of the sky. First we have a rose with an unusual bee for us: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/not+your+usual+bee.jpg.html Sometimes the bloom isn't the main course: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/leaf+takes+the+limelight.jpg.html This rose had seen a bit of wear: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Knock+out+rose+with+water+drops.jpg.html A tight view of just a blossom: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/full+frontal+rose.jpg.html Slightly askew view: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/rose+bud+with+a+better+bad+lens.jpg.html A bit of spherical aberration to go: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/purple+bud+with+spherical+aberation.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
