So, this week you mostly get rain drops on foliage. First is a leaf on a rose bush that does it's best to be a tree: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/water+drops+on+a+leaf.jpg.html This is a succulent native to the region and it tolerates dryness very well: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/succulent+with+water+drops.jpg.html This is the same rose bush seen previously: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/rose+bud+with+water+drops.jpg.html As I will get into on a later day I have accumulated some interesting lenses. This one is a lens the Air Force had Nikon create to photograph CRT's for record keeping purposes: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/nikkor+CRT+lens+at+1_2.jpg.html As anyone can attest, nut grass is extremely tolerant of abuse and will grow on just about anything: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/nut+grass+at+the+edge.jpg.html Last, when we had rain, the winds were high enough to knock a lot of leaves off the trees and even petals off the cactus: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/leaves+washed+into+a+storm+drain.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
