Weston shot his inside a metal funnel, if I remember right. The reason was to give a seamless, plain background. Camera stores sell rolls of matte-surfaced solid colored paper called "Seamless Background Paper." Its made in a lot of colors; plus black, white, and some shades of gray. Commercial photographers use it for product photography because you can pull it down behind the subject and then onto the table under the subject to give a smooth seamless background. The paper is tick and durable; it can be reused until it gets dirty, then you just pull more off the roll. That would work perfectly for your peppers! -- Chris Crawford Fine Art Photography Fort Wayne, Indiana 260-437-8990 https://chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio https://sx70project.com The Polaroid SX-70 Project https://crawfordphotoschool.com Learn From Me ?On 3/7/23, 8:01 AM, "LUG on behalf of Lluis Ripoll via LUG" <lug-bounces+chris=chriscrawfordphoto.com at leica-users.org on behalf of lug at leica-users.org> wrote: Trying to emulate Edward Weston, please view large <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/luisrq/Fine+Art/2023F030107V3.jpg.html> Rolleiflex Planar 80mm f 2.8, with Rolleinar 1, TMY400, D-76 Stock Thanks for looking, your c&c are welcome Saludos cordiales Lluis _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
