Thanks for that, Peter. I'm in the same position, as I have a new pc - 
got this week - I have to move to, as this one is acting up for the past 
while.

I currently use a paid for Abobe PSE15 and Lightroom 6 which I have on 
CD safely tucked away somewhere - safe from everyone, including myself, 
unfortunately. Not that it's likely I can use it on another pc anyway, 
and my new Dell hasn't got an optical drive.

I resent paying more than once for anything, so have decided to switch 
to something else which doesn't require a subscription. That said I do 
minimal work on any of my photos, as I prefer to do the work in the 
camera, so my manipulation needs are minimal.

I haven't bought AP since about 2006, so will investigate it tomorrow in 
my local newsagents. Thanks
