In my Fuji days I used to carry either the kit lens (18-55mm or 25-82mm equivalent), or two bodies with 23mm and 56mm (35mm and 85mm equivalent) lenses. Nowadays, I usually just carry either a 24-70 f2.8 or a 24-120 f4 mounted on a Nikon Z7 with me on trips. If I need a little more reach, I just switch into DX mode (which still gives me 20MP files) - I know I can always crop, but switching into DX mode makes composition much easier.
