Take the film and shoot it side by side with whatever other camera you choose. I would take something that you can leverage with the Leica on loan program to try some of the new lenses. It is a bit of a hassle to shoot with two bodies but my experience with some 15 year old Reala was if frozen the film only has very, very minor color shift. But, I would check on film processing in Dublin and see if you can get negatives there.
