This one, the Clyde, was still showing movies when I was a kid. It isn?t far from the neighborhood where I grew up. After it closed, it was a church for a while, like the one in Geneva, then it sat empty for many years. The owner of Sweetwater Music, a huge online music equipment dealer based in Fort Wayne, bought it and spent millions renovating it as a music hall. https://chriscrawfordphoto.com/chris-details.php?product=2963 The inside had a beautiful 1930s art deco look when I was a kid. I haven't been inside since it reopened. -- Chris Crawford Fine Art Photography Fort Wayne, Indiana 260-437-8990 https://chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio https://crawfordphotoschool.com Learn From Me ?On 2/17/22, 5:34 PM, "LUG on behalf of Don Dory via LUG" <lug-bounces+chris=chriscrawfordphoto.com at leica-users.org on behalf of lug at leica-users.org> wrote: Too far away from a modest population center to be a place for concerts etc. Atlanta had a modest sized retired Babtist church for sh I was that would draw about 2000 if the fire Marshall was on vacation.
