I would like to thank you all for the kind words and the memories you evoked concerning my beloved companion for 20 years. He was a kind and caring hisband, and a mighty witty guy, a wonderful father and grandad, and he had that extra sparkle in the eye that made everybody marvel at his shots. We strolled on many paths for 20 years and his brutal and unexpected departure came as a shock to me and to all. No sign whatsoever, just a fatal heart attack when he slipped into bed after a nice day. I would like to thank you all for having made his days bright and cheerful, for having been so welcoming at the way he saw the world, always in grace and with heart, and for having been his friend, which he truly believed. He often talked about the list and your pieces of art, which he would share with me: Alice, come here, see this shot, isn?it amazing? Intriguing? Marvelous? Thank you for sending us some of his portraits, which we printed so that all the people who attended the funeral could admire and go back with some of them. Thank you for being who you all are: kind, open-minded, respectful and happy to share, always with a positive eye. Amiti?s, as he liked so much to write (and he meant it), Alice > Le 20 janv. 2022 ? 13:10, Lluis Ripoll via LUG <lug at leica-users.org> a > ?crit : > > Hello all my friends > > I received the sad news that my friend, our friend, Philippe Amard left us > last night. > May he rest in peace, I will miss him very much. > > Lluis > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
