Very entertaining for random wall art: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Austin+Signs/Motel.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Austin+Signs/scary+figure+in+the+window+with+cat.jpg.html In the same block of buildings another interesting take perfume and tacos: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Austin+Signs/Corrbalan_s+Emporium.jpg.html Interestingly, I found this in the main tourist district rather than the bar district: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Austin+Signs/Buy+the+Bride+a+shot.jpg.html The enabler had Mario riding the hitch: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Austin+Signs/Mario+taking+a+ride.jpg.html I believe this sentiment has to do with the rampant crime going on with workers' tools. Usually you try to have the tools you might need in your truck so the work can be performed without delay. However, it is hard to maintain security when you are in and out of a workplace(especially residential). So, a lot of expensive tools are lost to drive by thieves who opportunistically grab and go. I have seen workmen pay an apprentice just to sit out at the truck to deter thieves: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Austin+Signs/Get+your+own.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
