Still working on July images we begin with an oak tree in the adjacent neighborhood. The owners had just finished building their southern revival home and were finishing up protecting a heritage oak: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/oak+crutch.jpg.html Walking through the greenbelt along Bouldin Creek a windstorm broke a tree that was in a grove in a meadow: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/tree+clump+in+a+meadow.jpg.html Almost an abstract this tree went down fighting wind and fire, clutching the supporting limestone shelf all the way down: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/clutching+stones.jpg.html Not fall yet, just a dead cluster of leaves: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/dead+leaves+broken+branch.jpg.html Same tree but a still living branch that proved to be a decent lunch destination: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/tasty+morsel+for+something.jpg.html A high humidity morning with nice light: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/morning+light+on+the+greenbelt.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
