Douglas,

She was a feral cat that was trapped, spayed, and released.  They nipped
the ear so that you can know that she's already been done.  Then a friend
who had been feeding her noticed how tame she seemed and socialized her.
We then took her as a foster, but that has failed and she owns us now.
She's about two years old, named for the Gulf Hurricane Sally that hit
Alabama.
