Subject: [Leica] Murder Hornets

They are really beautiful.  But why on earth is *Vespa mandarinia* referred
to as a "murder hornet"???  Absurd.  It's just a rather impressive insect
that does what hornets do.  People moving them to areas where the fauna and
human populations are not adapted to their presence is the problem.  Is
this a media name to get people hyped up and scared so media outlets get
more clicks and advertising viewing?
